Fishing at The Inn at Kelly's Ford

Fishing The Rappahannock River with its combination of riffles, runs and glides is a unique small-mouth and redbreast sunfish river. An abundance of fallfish can also be caught along our two-mile stretch of the Rappahannock River. Mountain Run, which also borders our property, can afford even the most experienced fisherman an opportunity to hone his or her skills while fishing for small-mouth bass and sunfish in a truly beautiful setting. During normal water levels most of the river can be easily waded and therefore provides a very enjoyable fishing experience, even for the novice. The Inn can provide you with either fly-fishing or spin fishing equipment and while we encourage catch and release it´s not a requirement.
