Canoeing
The property is located along the Rappahannock River which is officially designated as a state scenic river. The Rappahannock River is popular for canoeing, kyaking, tubing, and fishing not only for its beauty but also for its variety of waters.
The canoeing experiences range from a short two-mile flat water run to a 7-mile run with Class I and II rapids along the way. If you are looking for a nice easy ride along a beautiful tree lined river or a more challenging ride on Class II rapids, the Rappahannock River is the place to be.
For diversified
experiences, we also provide canoeing
on Mountain Run, water level conditions permitting. . The canoeing season starts April 15th.
